Absolutely loved my order!

I was so excited to get my order from The Taste Of Germany and it did not disappoint! I got the hazelnut spread protein waffle bar and some Dallmayr coffee. The coffee is amazing, exactly what I remember from Germany. The waffle bar was a perfect snack. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic. I'm definitely going to shop here again for more treats. Will tell my sister to check them out too!

Quick delivery, good quality

Ordered some Maggi seasoning and Knorr fix mixes. Arrived in 4 days. Products were fresh and as described. No issues with packaging. Happy with my purchase.

Great selection, slow shipping

I ordered a few items for an Oktoberfest party, specifically the Landsberg whole grain bread, some Bavarian Limburger cheese, and a few packs of Haribo gummies. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, no issues there. Everything arrived well-packed, especially the cheese which had cool packs and was still cold. The bread was fresh and delicious, and the gummies were exactly what I expected. My main critique is the shipping speed; it took a full 9 days to get to me in Florida, which felt a bit long for perishable items. Customer support was responsive when I inquired about the tracking, though. Overall, good quality products, but plan for longer delivery times.

Good products, slight delay

I bought some Milka chocolate and a Dr. Oetker pudding powder mix. The chocolate was fresh and tasty, as expected. The pudding mix worked perfectly. My order took about 6 days to arrive, which was a little longer than I hoped, but not terrible. Everything was packed securely. I wish they had more options for express shipping at a reasonable price, but the quality of the products makes me consider ordering again.

Decent value on German goods

I was looking for some authentic German mustard and found a good price here for a larger jar. I also picked up some Ritter Sport chocolate since it was on sale. The total with shipping felt fair. I think I saved a bit compared to other specialty stores. Everything arrived in good condition, no broken jars or melted chocolate. It was worth the purchase for getting these specific items without overpaying.

Are these products actually from Germany or like, made in the US with German recipes? Just wondering if it's the real deal.

B Brian R. 6 days ago
Oh no, it's all authentic imports. Like, the real Haribo and Milka, not the stuff you find at regular US grocery stores. You can tell the difference.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everything I've ever ordered from them has been legit German imports. Labels are all in German with stickers for US info. Super authentic.

quick question about shipping times. anyone order to NYC recently? trying to figure out if i can get some stuff by next weekend for a party.

J Joseph Williams 1 month ago
Depends on what shipping you pick, but I usually get my orders to New York within 3-5 business days. Sometimes quicker if you're lucky. Might be tight for next weekend if you order late in the week.

Mine took about 4 days to Brooklyn last month. They ship pretty fast if you choose standard, but if you need it for sure by next weekend, maybe check their express options.

Anyone know if I can use my newsletter sign-up discount AND a free shipping code at the same time? Trying to get a good haul.

B Ben Diaz 3 days ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code at a time. Most stores are like that. I tried combining a holiday sale with my first order discount and it didn't work.

AFAIK, their coupons don't stack. So you gotta pick which one gives you the best deal. Free shipping over $100 is automatic though, so if your order is big enough, that's a good way to save.

Hey, I'm looking at getting some of that Landsberg bread and maybe some Limburger. How do they ship the fresh stuff? Worried about it going bad on the way to Arizona.

They pack perishables with ice packs, I think. Got some cheese from them last summer to Texas and it was totally fine. Still cold.

Yeah, they use special packaging for cheese and other cold items. Don't worry, it usually arrives in good shape. Just make sure you're home to get it when it arrives, especially in the heat.

Thinking of trying out The Taste of Germany. How do they compare to GermanShop24? Anyone have experience with both?

J Josh Campbell 1 month ago
I've used both. The Taste of Germany feels a bit more curated, like they have a really good selection of classic German stuff. GermanShop24 has a huge inventory, but sometimes it feels overwhelming. Quality is good at both though.

The Taste of Germany usually has better prices on some of the staple items I buy, especially during their sales. Shipping times are pretty similar. I'd say The Taste of Germany often has better deals if you catch them.
